Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. In honor of Women’s History Month, Hotel Zena will be hosting “Spirited Woman” on Saturday, March 25th, from 3-5 p.m. to spotlight female-led distilleries, wineries, and breweries. Would this be of interest for a weekend event round-up?

Guests will be able to sample pours from each of the featured spirits including Republic Restoratives, Catoctin Creek, Uncle Nearest, Bow and Ivy, Union Brewing, Denizens Brewing, Graft Cidery, and more. Lite bites will also be provided; additional food and drinks will be available for sale.

Tickets cost $70 for VIP access (including early entry at 2 p.m.) or $45 for general admission and can be purchased here.
