Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Industry Takeover Nights are open to the public. From 10pm to 1am, guest chefs serve complimentary late night snacks at the first floor pizza bar, and the bar offers drink specials, including some libations from guest mixologists. A $10 cash-only cover charge is requested at the door, and 50% is donated to a different charity benefactor each month.
