 WHAT:                       The D.C. Lottery will host a “Day at the Derby” event at the historic Union Station, to showcase Race2Riches monitor game and Triple Crown Tripler Promotion with two $250 prizes to be awarded to the best Derby Hat (Females) and the best GQ Derby Suit (Males).

                                    WMMJ’s own jockeys, like Adimu from afternoon drive, will be on hand from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. and at 1:30 P.M.
BACKGROUND:        On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, the D.C. Lottery will host a “Day at the Derby” event at Union Station; the only opportunity in town to play and win on a horse racing themed game for cash and prizes. The event will feature D.C. Lottery’sRace2Riches (R2R), an interactive horse racing game with the opportunity to win up to $1 Million.
The event is expected to draw hundreds of “Derby Day” players and will culminate with cash prizes for the best Derby hat and suit for two lucky winners. Attendees will engage in the excitement of horse racing in DC as the Washington Metropolitan area gears up for the nationally acclaimed 138th Preakness at Pimlico on May 18, 2013.
