Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. GlamourHolics will celebrate the launch of DC’s first mobile boutique, Curbside Fashion Truck, Saturday, August 24th at Panache Restaurant. The event will bring together the who’s who of the Districts most fashionable crowd, and will bring exposure to this new mobile retail concept, where customers will experience a new and convenient way to shop, bringing the latest clothing, accessories, and beauty products to their door at affordable prices.

The transformation from truck to a glam mobile boutique was a process, but the curated mobile fashion unit is ready for its unveiling! Featuring unique fashion finds and beauty indulgence under the $100 price point, the truck will make its way through the metropolitan area while still offering the comforts of your favorite boutique including a dressing room; state of the art sound system; and a wet bar. The Curbside Fashion Truck is also available for private events offering special “Girls Night Out” packages, including a custom make-up bar, where patrons are able to book appointments to have their foundation custom blended while they wait!
