Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Brainfood’s 4th annual fundraiser and burger grill-off on Poste’s patio will feature some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs including Poste’s Chef Kyoo Eom, Osteria Morini’s Chef Matt Adler, Brookland’s Finest’s Shannan Troncoso, Macon Bistro & Larder’s Dan Singhofen, Firefly’s Matt Hagan and more! DC Brau and Three Stars brews will be available as well as specialty cocktails from three of DC’s top bar leaders.

For each ticket purchased, attendees are entered to win a luxury box for 10 people at the Washington/Dallas game on December 7th. 

Box includes 10 tickets, 3 parking passes and food (a $6,000 value!).

ABC 7’s Scott Thuman will MC this wildly fun food event and Porn Burger’s

Mathew Ramsey will serve as a battle judge.
