Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. This September, Zentan’s head bartender Matt Allred will teach a class on bottled cocktails. Guests will uncover the history and technique behind the classic ‘Southside Fizz,’ and apply different carbonation and bottling techniques to create Zentan’s housebottled cocktail, the Thomas Circle Fizz. Matt will also give instruction on how to start your own home bottle production for creative gift ideas ahead of the holidays.  Following the instruction portion of the class, attendees will head upstairs to enjoy the fruits of their labor on the rooftop.
