Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. On Sunday, October 22 at 2 p.m., Flywheel Sports’ barre component, FlyBarre, will host a special 45-minute pop-up class at DC Brau Brewing Company. Free and open to the public, fitness enthusiasts will sweat it out followed by complimentary craft beer courtesy of DC Brau.
