Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. The 34th annual Andrea Kaufman Sprint Four the Cure is a 5k run/walk along the scenic C&O Canal. The purpose of this friends and family style event is to raise money for cancer research and have fun! The event concludes with a hearty breakfast and benefits the Washington Hospital Center Cance Institute.
