Tiffany Carter held a “Cherry Chihuahua” specialty drink last night to kick off Fashion for Paws, but she’ll be holding her adopted coon hound, Kali, when she and other style setters take to the runway for the Washington Humane Society at the Italian Embassy on April 10, 2010.
“Good friends and family helped me reach my fundraising goal last year, but this year, I want a little bit more,” Carter said.
“Last year, I wore Wolford lilac fishnets down the runway and though they were cool, I didn’t have much of a choice,” she said, adding that only those who raise $5,000 or more are given the option to choose their designer.
“This year I am raising $5,000, and I want a form flattering Nicole Miller dress.”
An additional few thousand and this might be the year she gets to pamper her pup as well.
“I’ve always wanted to put a little tutu on Kali.”
