Remember that classic hit “ Tell Me Something Good?” Chaka Khan sure told us something good by singing that song, and kicking off a free summer concert series at Woodrow Wilson Plaza yesterday. The summer-long sequence showcases a variety of artists and entertainment at the Plaza – and yes, you read right – it’s free!
So in case you missed Chaka belting out some of your favorites including “What Cha Gonna Do for Me,” “The Wire,” “Sweet Thing,”and “I’m Every Woman,” be sure to check the schedule for future exciting summer performances – like Alyson Williams, Lonnie Liston Smith Jr., and Chuck Brown. Monday-Friday from 12-1:30 pm at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza.
It’s a great summer lunch break that won’t even cost you a pretty penny.
