Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Capitol File 5th Anniversary: Fun with Gunn

Capitol File magazine celebrated its fifth anniversary Wednesday night at the Corcoran Gallery of Art with special guest and issue cover model Tim Gunn in attendance.

Hundreds of guests enjoyed while toasting another year of success with Jason Binn, CEO and Founder, Kate Bennett, Editor-in-Chief, and Sarah Schaffer, Publisher, while exploring the museum’s exhibits well into the night.

Among those spotted were ROHDC castmember Mary Amons, Sofitel’s Pierre Louis Renaud, Hudson’s Alan Popovsky, Popchips’ Lauren Pomponio and Serendipity 3’s Rodrigo Garcia.
