Are you on the list?

This watering hole-in-the-wall arguably created the popular “list” concept in DC. Ten years ago, Bo Blair opened Smith Point in what is effectively a hidden Georgetown basement, and through the powers of prepster pique polo – and some infamous clientele (Can you say Bush twins?) – gained national notoriety.

The SPDF (Smith Point Dance Floor) is the much talked about highlight of the barebones joint, but getting to it… there’s the rub. Are you cool enough for school? (Most SP regulars hail from “prominent colleges of the East and South.”)

In honor of its decade of debauchery, Smith Point is throwing out a tip – and a tease. You can get on the list! Secure a “listing” for you and up to five friends you nominate… if you’re fab enough to be accepted as a Facebook “Friend.”
