Ivan Iricanin and his team at Street Guys Hospitality have much to celebrate lately. Not only did they announce the third Ambar location, which will be opening on March 6 in Shaw (1547 7th St., NW), but this signature Balkan restaurant concept celebrates its 10th anniversary in DC with specials available at all three Ambar locations: Ambar Capitol Hill, Ambar Clarendon, and Ambar Shaw, from March 13 through 19.
During these dates, guests will also enjoy a complimentary favorite item from the restaurant’s opening menu in 2013 — and yes, remember it well. The Grilled Prunes appetizer is wrapped with bacon, stuffed with almond and goat cheese, and topped with balsamic reduction.
As a bonus at the new Ambar Shaw, from March 6-12, diners at this new third location will also get a $10 discount on unlimited small plates during dinner service.
And to really get DC besotted with the Balkans, Ambar is offering one lucky patron a chance to win a trip for two to Belgrade, Serbia. (Roundtrip airline tickets and accommodations for a two-night stay in a five-star hotel, along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the popular Ambar Belgrade, as well as additional perks included.)
