Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. AllSaints Spitalfields Opens in Georgetown

In store: screens, stitches and Spitalfields. (Well, maybe not exactly… but that reclaimed wooden floor was brought across the pond from somewhere in London!)

Last Friday saw Georgetown’s much anticipated AllSaints Spitalfields store opening, the British casual clothing retailer’s 10th location nationwide, replacing what was once Club Monaco.

In addition to checking out trendy tees, sequin minis, bathing suit separates and chunky hipster high heels, shoppers browsed amongst some 200 Singer sewing machines (company trademark decor) and nine iPads – in case the some 5,000 square feet of inventory doesn’t carry your coveted Aztec vest or Desert boot.
