Six New Restaurants Coming to DC This Fall

Foodies, get excited for Fall! In a city where new nosh spots are always opening, we’re especially thrilled to share about these six new restaurants slated to open in DC in the coming weeks:

Paella like that which may be served at the new Xiquet

Everything skewered and served on a stick! Asian street food is coming from Aung Myint and the team behind Bandoola Bowl.  Sticx (1728  Wisconsin Ave., Georgetown) features street foods, sushi and BBQ from Japan, Burma and Thailand.

Eric and Liam Hilton’s latest, the 50 seat Café Colline (4536 Lee Highway, Arlington) will have a French-driven menu similar to its sister, Chez Billy Sud.

Dany Lledó is changing up the second floor of his Slate Wine Bar to include a new Spanish concept, Xiquet (2404 Wisconsin Ave., Glover Park), that will offer paellas, suckling pig, steak, seafood, and the largest collection of Port in the city.

Modena replaces Bibiana Osteria-Enoteca (1000 New York Ave NW, City Center) as a rebrand with an entirely new menu of fresh Italian-influenced seasonal cuisine.

The Astro Donuts and Fried Chicken empire is expanding.  Now you’ll be able to get your fix at a two levelcoffee shop/beer hall, Astro Beer Hall (1306 G Street NW, Metro Center) while posting up in the upstairs game room to play pinball and Ms. Pacman.

Maziar and Shehab Farivar, the forces behind Peacock Café, are finally realizing their dream of opening a modern Persian restaurant. Vintage78 (2100 P Street NW, Dupont) is named for the year the brothers came to the United States.
