Martha Stewart is making her first appearance at MetroCooking DC this weekend (November 16-17, 2019).  Headlining the region’s largest culinary showcase, held for its 14th year at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the handmade/homemade/how-to hostess is anticipated to draw much attention over the weekend’s activities, which include ongoing tastings, demos and home entertaining and cooking workshops.

But she’s just one famous reason this year’s show is cooking with gas.  Internationally-renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck is also taking the James Beard Foundation Cooking Stage stage, along with MetroCooking appearances by Emmy-award winning Lidia Bastianich and the “winningest man in barbeque” TV host and restaurateur Myron Mixon.

Attendees will also see and taste from RAMMY award-winners and local DC area chefs including Victor Albisu; Amy Brandwein; Erik Bruner-Yang; Haidar Karoum, and others.

There will be shopping from aisles of specialty food products (holiday gift options galore!), live demos, interactive workshops, and book signings from authors across the country.  There are even planned interactive events within the weekend Show, like a Beer, Wine & Spirits Garden, a BBQ Bash, and a Natural Products & Healthy Living pavilion.

It’s a foodie favorite, but not just a great time for gourmands.  Everyone loves eats, treats and celeb sightings! And you’ve got to go to find out… what’s Martha going to make?
