Dog Daze Social Club to Open in Logan Circle
DCers with dogs, get those tails wagging! A new dog-friendly garden restaurant is opening in Logan Circle.
Dog Daze Social Club (1100 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005) opens this Fall, offering a space where patrons can enjoy delicious food and drinks with friends while also playing with furry companions in a 6,000 sq. ft. romp area.
This isn’t just a dog park with a coffee/cocktail bar.
The dog-friendly garden has mature trees and cleaned-daily synthetic turf for the pups. For the people, Dog Daze has expertly crafted coffees, refreshing smoothies, and acai bowls in the morning; Chicago tavern-style pizza, focaccia sandwiches, fresh salads and other small plates continue into the afternoon. (Of course, there are specialized treats made just for the four-legged guests.)
Don’t have a dog? You’re welcome to enjoy play from the sidelines – and snag some commuter fare via an ordering walk-up window.
“With Dog Daze Social Club, we want to create a space where both dogs and their owners can come together and enjoy an experience that’s unique to the DC area,” says Dog Daze Ownership. “We’re excited to offer a space where people can relax with great pizza and drinks while their dogs have a safe, fun environment to socialize in.”
Dog Daze also plans to host curated events ranging from expert talks with dog trainers, to adoption events and puppy yoga.
All dogs must be registered before entering the garden. To ensure safety, Dog Daze says that the play area will be monitored by a dedicated Pup Patrol, and fresh water will be readily available.
