Last Thursday night, bold-faced names from the tech, political, business, media and entertainment worlds gathered at intimate Georgetown art gallery DTR Modern for the fourth annual Bytes & Bylines party, kicking off White House Correspondents’ Dinner Weekend.

Co-hosts Allen Gannett (TrackMaven), Eric Kuhn (Layer3 TV), John McCarthy (political strategist) and Susanna Quinn (Veluxe) welcomed the eclectic roster of guests to the party.

“Events like Bytes & Bylines are important to highlight all the fantastic work journalists do in Washington and around the world,” says Joel Simon, executive director of the Committee to Protect Journalists. “CPJ will use the funds and awareness raised over the upcoming weekend to continue fighting for the rights of journalists.”
