16th Annual DC Jazz Fest Gets Into a Global Rhythm
The 16th annual DC Jazz Fest will still be live and local — coming from so many of the District’s distinct
neighborhoods — but is also going global with virtual programming available to listeners and participants from Thursday, September 24th to Monday, September 28th, 2020.
“DC JazzFest is proud to bring world-class jazz performances to the global stage in our 16th edition,” said DC Jazz Festival Executive Director Sunny Sumter. “Celebrating the real DC, performances will stream from neighborhoods across the city.”
For the 16th annual event, participants can tune in from home on either the festival’s YouTube Channel or Facebook Live for five days, over 20 performances from jazz masters and homegrown rising stars, family-friendly music education classes, and an all-new unforgettable DC JazzFest experience as it all streams live for the very first time this year.
