Not your typical advocates, the HSC Foundation honored young leaders that have taken a special interest in disability rights during an awards gala Thursday evening. Following in the steps of influential youth who have previously been recognized by this organization, Lacy Pittman – the night’s big honoree – received a $10,000 award for her inspirational project plan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
