Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. The Social and Sunset Set… at One Lounge

Kitchen and cocktail bar One Lounge feted its new weekly Sunset Set, live jazz Tuesdays with The Pete Muldoon Band, Tuesday evening with a peppering of performance-loving locals. 
NBC 4’s John Schriffen, Bitches Who Brunch’s Cori Sue Morris, and Washington Life Magazine’s Michael Clements and wife Anchyi Wei made it out to listen to the smooth stylings of Pete Muldoon (guitar), Eric Wheeler (bass) and Lena Seikaly (vocals), whom the Post annointed “one of Washington’s brightest young voices in jazz.”

Sunset Set was the second big launch for One Lounge’s Seth McClelland and Niko Papademetriou: just this week, the venue also began lunch service.
