Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Winner of the 8th season of American Idol Kris Allen was spotted lounging atop the W Hotel Tuesday evening.
Our spy in the lobby said that crowds of young girls recognized the young spiky haired singer first and accosted him for pictures as he left for a special appearance at the Hard Rock Cafe.
No “diva” in this dude: Allen was reportedly “very nice” and posed for everyone.
He plays in Las Vegas Friday.
