Spinning the Money Wheel

It’s not about win or lose – it’s about helping by playing the game.

Former Redskin Darryl Pounds joined Chairs LaVar and Trishia Arrington (at right) and other hosts to put on a National Kidney Foundation signature Casino Night fundraising event late last week.

Texas Hold ‘Em, blackjack, a money wheel and Wii Golf and Guitar Hero… not to raise one’s blood pressure, but to fight this second leading risk factor for kidney failure.

Arrington and Pounds, the latter citing hypertension in his family history, hope to reduce instances of high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease as well as promote organ donation.
