Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. PAUL Opens in Georgetown

Delicious coincidences!  In a stroke of genius luck and flour power, PAUL Bakery and Cafe found a building in DC that was built in the exact same year that PAUL was founded in Lille, France — 1889.

The brick building, once kitchen to the historic City Tavern, now serves as an authentic Parisian cafe – with top floor dining – offering sandwiches, breads…. and those famous PAUL macaroons.  Official opening: November 7th.*

*DC’s second PAUL is located at 1078 Wisconsin Ave.


**Correction – due to renovations and staff training, Georgetown’s PAUL will now open November 21st.
