Delicious coincidences! In a stroke of genius luck and flour power, PAUL Bakery and Cafe found a building in DC that was built in the exact same year that PAUL was founded in Lille, France — 1889.
The brick building, once kitchen to the historic City Tavern, now serves as an authentic Parisian cafe – with top floor dining – offering sandwiches, breads…. and those famous PAUL macaroons. Official opening: November 7th.*
*DC’s second PAUL is located at 1078 Wisconsin Ave.
**Correction – due to renovations and staff training, Georgetown’s PAUL will now open November 21st.
