Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Man vs. WILD with Will Ferrell

Karen E. Varga-Sinka sent me the above clip in advance of tomorrow’s episode of The Discovery Channel’s ‘Man vs Wild’ featuring Will Ferrell, and I thought to myself, now that’s gonna be one funny episode!

We’re already pretty darn entertained by the show already, where in each episode, Bear Grylls strands himself in popular wilderness destinations (none in DC yet, but we can imagine some Rock Creek craziness). It’s about ultimate survival… and eating some pretty random and disgusting stuff. Let’s see how funnyman Ferrell handles it! From the looks of the clip above, even from the very beginning, he’s barely hanging on.
