Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Kitty Kelly “Unauthorized”

At a DC Public Library Foundation fundraiser in Georgetown Sunday night, famed biographer Kitty Kelly dished with friends and neighbors on Oprah‘s family secrets as told in her latest book – except for one whopper that she swore she wouldn’t divulge.

“People are terrified of Oprah,” she said. “As much as they love her, they are scared of her… but I live and die by a motto that I have above my desk that says: Tell the truth, but ride a fast horse!”
