Good Ship Lollipop, Make Way for Tall Ship Gloria

Seeing ships? That’s the Tall Ship Gloria, official flagship and sail-training ship of the Colombian Navy, in town from Cartagena, Colombia at the docks in Alexandria.  

Not only does the vessel boast an appearance with Colombian President Silva this week… it’s open to carrying “castaways” – offering free public tours on Tuesday, May 24 (3 PM – 7 PM) and Wednesday, May 25 (NOON- 4 PM) at the Robinson Terminal South, located at 2 Duke Street.

*Why’s it so wonderful?  The Tall Ship Gloria is one of the biggest tall ships still floating today!
