Fight Night/Knock Out Abuse

These are two of the most anticipated events of the year! For the record, Fight Night is for the men to watch boxing matches, smoke cigars, drink scotch… or whatever men do. Knock Out Abuse is a dinner and networking opportunity for DC’s charitable women to connect and rally for a cause.

And then there’s the afterparty. Since the men just can’t stay away… they truck it over to the Ritz for some after dinner drinking and dancing.

Thursday night’s combo event was fun, but here’s my take in comparison to past years, scale of 1-10:

Divine attire: 5 (You knew the men were coming, right? Why weren’t you ready to show off for them?)

Band: 4 (But it’s pretty hard to beat a surprise performance by Lenny Kravitz…)

Attendees: 8 (On the whole, it’s a classy crowd with real philanthropic intentions, the kind of party with both big names and familiar faces.)

Fun: 10 Because we havea blast wherever we are!

(Why do we have so much fun?! Because we get to take fun photos with great boxers like Michael Spinks, that’s one reason why!)
