Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. You’ll catch her interviewing guests on DC’s NewChannel8′s Let’s Talk Live and showcasing products on BestBuy.com, as well as work appearing on NBC, Fox, Comcast and local print publications.

Believe (inspired by the music of Michael Jackson) is a fitness party that will be taking place Saturday, October 26th 2013 at the Sports Club/LA (1170 22nd street NW, adjacent to the Ritz Carlton).

This event will benefit and help bring awareness to Miriam’s Kitchen, an incredible organization committed to ending hunger and chronic homelessness right here in DC.

It will feature a Yala fitness Party led by it’s creator Laurent Amzallag, complete with live DJ, interactive video and light show. An after party sponsored by Bacardi will follow which will include champagne bar and low calorie specialty drinks (included in the ticket price).
Our special invited guests includes pro athletes and stylist to the stars, Johnny Wright, which will provide his signature demo.
People will leave feeling and looking amazing.
