Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Wednesday May 7th: “There and Back Again” – an Epic Beer Journey with Oakshire Brewing Co. and 3 Stars

6pm-9pm on the Terrace

Not currently available in the DC market, Eugene, Oregon’s acclaimed Oakshire Brewing Co.is teaming up with loved local 3 Stars Brewing Company for an epic beer journey at Jack Rose.

Both breweries will take over the bar’s 20-tap draft system, offering tastes from one of Oregon’s smallest and most talented breweries along with one of DC’s favorite local breweries, both which embody what beer is all about: community, quality and amazing beer.

The event will also debut a Jack Rose-exclusive Knob Creek Rye Barrel-aged version of the 3 Stars Southern Belle from the only known Knob Creek Rye barrel to ever leave the distillery.

Guests can enjoy $5 beer specials from 6pm-9pm and the event is free and open to the public.
