New Belgium Brewing has teamed up with Washington, D.C.-based nonprofits, Gearin’ Up Bicycles and Phoenix Bikes, to bring ‘The Sunshine Rides’ to the nation’s capitol, a way to enjoy the city by bike. This July and August, grease up the bike chain, join the ride and have a ball at post-cycle soirees, all while raising support for Earn-A-Bike youth programs.

July Sunshine Ride and Post-Cycle Soiree

Join New Belgium and Gearin’ Up Bicycles to cruise through up-and-coming neighborhoods in the North of Massachusetts Ave. (NoMa) and Brookland areas. Discover beautiful public art spaces and culinary pop-ups in Northeast D.C. while exploring the “stories behind the structures” and working up an appetite for the Post-Cycle Soiree at Union Market.

The Sunshine Ride concludes with a Post-Cycle Soiree and plenty of celebratory festivities, including:

  • 1 FREE New Belgium beer, included with ticket purchase;
  • Laughs and live performances from Church Night;
  • A chance to star in your own video at the Bicycle Pledge Booth;
  • One-of-a-kind New Belgium schwag;
  • Discounts on eats and beer pairings from various vendors inside Union Market (plus an all-powerful wristband);
  • And shade in Suburbia. Park your bike, kick off the shoes and enjoy the tasty beer cocktails Suburbia has to offer right from their Airstream trailer.
