Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. New Year’s Eve Glow at Whitlow’s  

Guests will literally GLOW in the dark at Whitlow’s on New Year’s Eve. The three-level bar hosts its first New Year’s celebration at their new U Street location with the party going on at every level.

The all-inclusive ticketed event, from 9 pm until 2 am, at $85 each, will have lots of black lights and fluorescent colors that glow when the lights are down. A dinner buffet is included with an open bar serving draft beers, wines, rail drinks and champagne.  It’ll be a dance party with DJ Killabeats24  performing on the rooftop and live band Turtle Recall will be performing on the second floor.
