Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Take a break from the chilly winter weather and join celebrity chef Todd Gray for an evening worth venturing out in the cold for.  On Thursday, February 20th Equinox will host a special game dinner that’s not to be missed. 

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a light canapé reception on the restaurant’s heated patio.  Guests will enjoy a traditional Oyster and Game Sausage Roast and drinks while watching the eatery’s talented team grill various meats that will later be served for dinner.  The night will continue inside the restaurant with a decadent three-course meal featuring venison, quail, pheasant and squab and live music by The WalkAways.  Diners can expect each course to feature seasonal, regional and sustainable ingredients – all signatures of Chef Gray’s cuisine.

 

Vintage beers from Chicago’s favorite hometown brewery, Goose Island, will be expertly paired with each course to enhance the tastes and textures of each dish.
