Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta.  #Lipstick Sister: Bring Your “Bra” To Brunch for Bras for a Cause | Sunday, March 30, 2014 | 2:00 P.M. | Malmaison, Georgetown

  • ·         Bra drive with my fellow ladies of the Washington D.C. Chapter of Lipstick Sister.  Guests are invited to donate new or gently used bras to be distributed to women and girls in need across the globe.  With a shipment scheduled to Ghana in April, we’re reaching across cultural ties and even oceans bringing women together—by the bra-strap.
