Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. On Sunday, February 24, 2019, Dyllan’s Raw Bar Grill will roll out the red carpet to host an exclusive viewing of the 91st annual Academy Awards.  This star-studded evening will be co-hosted by Carla Sanchez of Spicy Candy DC and Zarah Burstein of Modern Luxury magazine.  Tickets are priced at $50 per person, which includes an assortment of passed hors d’oeuvres highlighting the restaurant’s regional American cuisine, which centers around its modern raw bar, along with hand-rolled sushi and sparkling wine.  Guests will also enjoy a live screening of the Oscars broadcast on two 86-inch flat screen TVs which will be scattered throughout the restaurant. Additional food & cocktails will be available for purchase.  Tickets are available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/oscars-at-dyllans-georgetown-tickets-56774442887.  A select number of tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
