Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. WHAT:  Current Nationals Catcher Wilson Ramos and Pitcher Craig Stammen will lead this youth camp for kids ages 5-15 and will feature a special guest appearance by former Nationals pitcher Mike O’Connor and other current and former players. Children with disabilities from the Washington area will also have the chance for instruction from some of the best in the game – thanks to our generous sponsors. Special prizes and awards will be presented throughout the camp. Campers will train in a one day camp at this state of the art field used by the same star players at Georgetown University, Simulated games and batting cages will give kids an opportunity to learn how to become the next elite player of the game.
