Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. The Arlington Young Democrats are auctioning off more than 20 of the metro area’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. Additional items up for auction include gift certificates, VIP opportunities and more. A portion of proceeds benefit Doorways for Women and Families, an Arlington-based charity organization.

DETAILS:    Admission is free. Bid cards which include raffle tickets are $10. Those donating any new and unopened supplies such as water bottles, saran wrap, aluminum foil, Tupperware or baby monitors will receive additional raffle tickets.

Clarendon Grill has the following drink and food specials for all in attendance:

    $1.50 draft and bottle specials (until 9!)

    $1.00 off appetizers (until 8!)
