A [StreetWise] Second Helping

How to turn a dreary day into a delightful one? Food always helps… and helping others can warm the heart. Despite the rain (and for me, personally, the challenging location – I didn’t feel very “streetwise” at all getting turned around in my own former ‘hood!), the 2nd annual StreetWise Partners Taste of Success was a second helpin’ that was happenin’.

Last night attendees got their fill of food and decadent desserts from local area restos and chefs and washed it down with some charitable cocktails – and even brew from the only local beer brewery. Everyone stuck around for the rousing raffle… over twenty prizes given away from gift certificates to area eateries to a free GMAT test prep course (in the true spirit of StreetWise’s career promotion)!

Streetwise Partners works with premiere corporate and non-profit companies to build mentoring relationships between low income individuals and volunteer business professionals.
