11th Annual Heart’s Delight Brings Top Chefs and Bordeaux

Some studies have linked moderate consumption of alcohol with reduced heart disease.  Our study linked master winemakers, culinary greats and distinguished guests with a Heart’s Delight!

The 11th annual Heart’s Delight Wine Tasting & Auction brought all of these together at the Omni Shoreham Hotel Saturday evening to taste the latest growth Bordeaux and sample culinary delights from some of the country’s best chefs – including local Top Chef Runner-up Bryan Voltaggio (Volt) and Top Chef Master Graham Elliot (at right with author).

Elliot is an outspoken supporter of the American Heart Association and its mission, becoming involved with AHA and Saturday’s event in honor of his nephew who requires a heart transplant.
