Where to Eat in Washington? #RAMMYS2015 Winners!
“While everybody’s listening to me, both Del Campo and Taco Bamba are hiring,” Chef Victor Albisu snuck into his acceptance speech upon winning Sunday night’s coveted Chef of the Year honor at the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s annual RAMMY awards at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. And then he won the Best Grandson award for thanking both cuban grandparents in sentimental style.
Albisu, top foodservice industry colleagues, and their foodie fans, had a night of fun celebrating the 33rd Annual RAMMY Awards (and some fascinating news about Greenhouse, a truly innovative foodservice/business district concept dropped by Duke Ziebert Award winner Herb Miller, more on that later)….
