Trio of Vik Winery Reds Join Red Meats at Fogo De Chão

Known for its strong leanings towards South American wines, DC’s Fogo De Chão has introduced three new red wines to its menu and you’re going to love them!

The Brazilian steakhouse/churrascaria is already one of your go-tos for expertly grilled cuts of meat (tenderloin, pork, beef ribs, chicken and sirloin among others), but now there are a handful of fresh red blend wine additions to accompany your meat eats.

The three new wines come from the Vik Winery in Chile, which produces blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah.

Try La Piu Belle as a great companion to a light menu of salads, vegetables, and soup. Sip the Milla Cala Red Blend for bold notes of herbal plum and berry flavors with hints of coffee.  But if you’re diving into the steaks, the most popular will be VIK’s Red Blend, which provides aromas of herbs and flowers with hints of spice and dark berry.  It’s an elegant and vibrant flavor that ends with a dry, long and delicious finish.

Fogo De Chão has the eats… and now caters to the enophiles.
