Tiny Jewel Box Won’t Be So Tiny Much Longer
85 years ago, Tiny Jewel Box started out as a 100-foot breezeway shop offering vintage jewelry. But soon, the historic family run jewel business will span the length of a city block of ground level retail, unveiling an 8000 square foot retail expansion that takes over the space formerly occupied by Burberry.
The new shop will have a ground level watch department featuring a Rolex corner, a Cartier watch space, and a Rolex authorized repair center with watchmakers on the floor. Expanded departments will include an over-the-top bridal salon, a unique collectibles shop, and a vintage heirloom boutique — the original business of Tiny Jewel Box.
“We are excited to add many designers to our exclusive offerings with this expansion, including: Cartier watches, IWC Watches, Adel Chefridi,Carla Amorim, Marli, Paul Morelli, Spinelli Kilcollin, Temple St. Clair, Lika Behar, Sakamoto, Elizabeth Garvin, Yossi Harari, Annie Fensterstock and George Sawyer; all exclusive to us in DC. We’ve taken great care to maintain a matrix curated specifically for DC tastes,” says Tiny Jewel Box President Matthew Rosenheim.
The company will continue to utilize the 5 floors above the retail space for office space, manufacturing, custom design and corporate gifts.
