Swarovski Signs Lease for New Georgetown Storefront

Swarovski is set to return to DC with a new store in Georgetown, bringing its signature crystal designs back to the city later this year. The global brand has signed a five-year lease for a 948-square-foot space at 1234 Wisconsin Avenue NW, a prominent corner in the heart of the neighborhood.

The lease was announced by EastBanc and Acadia Realty Trust, co-owners of the Georgetown Portfolio and two of the area’s major retail property stakeholders. The move is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen Georgetown’s role as a destination for high-end retail.

When it opens, the store will offer a range of Swarovski products, including jewelry, watches, home décor, tableware, and eyewear. The location will also feature its newer lines of fine jewelry that include lab-grown Swarovski Created Diamonds.

This addition continues a trend in Georgetown, which has seen a steady influx of luxury retailers and international design brands in recent years. Property owners like EastBanc and Acadia have been actively working to attract global names while preserving the neighborhood’s historic character.

Swarovski’s arrival adds to the evolving mix of longtime local shops and newer upscale tenants, reflecting how Georgetown is balancing tradition with a growing appeal to national and international brands.
