Springbone Kitchen Sets Its Sights on Georgetown
A New York fast-casual fixture focused on clean ingredients and comforting classics is making its Washington debut. Springbone Kitchen will open its first DC location at 1426 Wisconsin Avenue NW in Georgetown on December 5, marking the brand’s first expansion beyond the New York–New Jersey region.
Founded in 2016, Springbone Kitchen has built a steady following for its nutrient-dense, made-from-scratch menu anchored by slow-simmered bone broths, grain bowls, and seasonal soups. The Georgetown opening represents a significant step for the brand, which plans to follow with a second DC location in Dupont Circle in early 2026.

Springbone Kitchen’s menu is built around a clear set of principles: high-quality ingredients, minimal processing, and a conscious avoidance of refined sugars, seed oils, and artificial additives. While the brand often falls under the “health-focused” label, its appeal has leaned toward familiarity rather than fads.
At the Georgetown location, guests can expect Springbone’s core offerings, including its signature bone broths and protein-forward bowls. Familiar menu items such as the Immunity Bone Broth, Grandma’s Chicken & Rice, and Roasted Tomato & Cheddar Soup will anchor the lineup, alongside rotating seasonal specials and desserts.

The space itself is designed to accommodate both takeaway traffic and relaxed, sit-down dining, an important consideration in a neighborhood that balances residential life with steady tourism and retail activity.
