A Quick Look Inside Georgetown’s New River Club

From the co-founders of Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognized Residents Cafe and Bar, Farid Azouri and David Nammour, River Club is Georgetown’s newest resto-hotspot, a terracotta paradise that offers a blended taste of Lebanon, Italy, and Spain.

Longtime DC residents might remember an earlier DC River Club nightclub, which happened to have been run by Nammour’s father just a few blocks away from this new waterfront-adjacent restaurant, but the name is an homage alone.

The new River Club is a restaurant — with mezze-style plates, rich aromatic entrees, and craft cocktails — that doesn’t have to try too hard to evoke that ‘dining out spectacularly on vacation’ vibe.

Guests will be immediately taken with the custom-made furniture and décor from Beirut, the beautiful bar, the delicious mezze (as well as the rest of the menu)… and a wine and cocktail menu — broken down by country.

Don’t miss ordering from the tableside service cart pouring arak, amaro, or vermouth!
