Where to Drink This Week? RAMMY Cocktail Finalists Show Off Nominations
Cocktail Program of the Year Finalists for RAMW’s 2024 RAMMY Awards are showcasing their offerings in advance of the awards presentation — and maybe hoping to garner some of the popular vote!
From June 3rd through June 9, 2024, guests are encouraged to come out and celebrate their favorite watering holes nominated for Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Cocktail Program of the Year!
Amazonia (920 Blagden Alley NW, Washington, DC 20001) will offer its ‘Tamarillo-Muña Pisco Punch’ with tamarillo, muña, lemon and cocoa bitters. The both tart and sweet flavors in a tamarillo create an aromatic and complex beverage that is light in body and refreshing.
Bar Spero (250 Massachusetts Ave NW Suite 155, Washington, DC 20001) will feature its ‘Dead Lady Cocktail’ made up of mezcal, Aperol, falernum, and lime to flavor up taste buds. This one is always offered on their menu, so it’s a daily fan favorite.
Jane Jane (1705 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20009) celebrates its nomination with a mini cocktail menu and tasting; Smaller versions of their favorite classics (as well as their house cocktails such as the Jane Jane Mule, Plays Well With Others, and more) will be available at a discount — or try them all at a bundle price!
Mercy Me (1143 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037) invites you in to taste a variety of signature cocktails, but one that’s especially intriguing is that non-alcoholic espresso martini!
Silver Lyan (900 F St NW, Washington, DC 20004) is a go-to for bubbly, bright, aromatic, and layered cocktails, with the option of boozeless cocktails as well. It’s a vibe.
The winner of 2024 Cocktail Program of the Year, among other categories, will be announced at the 42nd Annual RAMMY Awards Gala on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
