Pizza! Pasta! North Italia Now Serves Casual Italian Bites in Tysons’ The Boro

The DC area’s newest North Italia opened this week in Tysons at The Boro.

This made-from-scratch Italian pizza and pasta (plus!) casual chain is a quality experience from greeting to goodbye — and now the area has another lovely and light-filled location to enjoy North’s upscale comfort food cuisine.

Burrata

We’ve tested a good portion of the menu and still haven’t found a dish that didn’t delight.  Still, there are standouts, like the Burrata served with roasted pistachio and crispy pancetta on perfectly crunchy grilled bread.  Guests also rave about starting with the White Truffle Garlic Bread.

The Pig pizza

From the pizza menu, The Pig always tempts for meat lovers.  And if you’re in the mood for pasta, don’t pass up on the House Specialty Bolognese though the Strozzapreti, with its chicken, roasted mushroom, spinach, toasted pine nut, and parmesan cream is just as scrumptious to polish off as to pronounce.

And now there are even brunch dishes to salivate over!

Bolognese

DCers may find the Foggy Bottom location most convenient, but Tysons visitors will no doubt appreciate this solid newcomer on the shopping center scene.

Lunch is served weekdays 11 am – 4 pm. Dinner is served from 4 pm – 10 pm Sunday through Wednesday and an hour later on Thursday through Saturday. Brunch happens from 10 am to 4 pm weekends.
