DC Female News Anchors Pair Pink with Purpose for 14th Year

NewsBash, an annual event (rebranded in 2015) of Washington’s female news anchors, returned for its 14th celebration — a parade of pink for purpose — raising funds and awareness for breast cancer at the Four Seasons this month.

The night included specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and delicious treats, music, dancing, and more, with pink cocktail attire absolutely encouraged.

The event was sponsored by Glassman Wealth and others and selected the Step Sisters as its beneficiary this year. The money raised from NewsBash will be put towards their Crisis Fund, which provides support to breast cancer patients experiencing severe financial strain and provides funds for patients’ housing, utilities, and food stability.
