Make Plans Now, This DC Pool Is Still Open

Summer may be over, but apart from a few rainy exceptions, the days are still 90 degrees, muggy and miserable.  There aren’t many pools in the city open past Labor Day. So what’s a DCer to do?  Find the one that is!

DNV Rooftop is embracing the local heatwave with four more weeks of rooftop programming. Now until the end of September, take a refreshing swim, enjoy boozy popsicles and relax to Summer

-to-Fall transition tunes during the “Rooftop Rewind” DJ series on Thursdays and DNV Rooftop Sunday Pool Parties.

“Rooftop Rewind” takes place every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Additionally, every Sunday through the end of the month. Guests can cool off poolside while listening to DJ 215, enjoying slushies from Lead Bartender Justin Golash, and indulging in popular brunch favorites such as shrimp & grits, chicken & waffles, and avocado toast.

The DNV Rooftop pool will be open for swimming from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. every Sunday through September, weather permitting. Rooftop brunch is served from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. A $10 entry fee is charged at the door for pool party participants; no cover charge for “Rooftop Rewind.” Guests must be 21+ to attend. No reservations are required.
