Inside The Weekend’s Wilson Hardware Anniversary Party

Despite a sudden downpour, fans of Arlington’s Wilson Hardware flooded the three-story bar/restaurant last weekend as it fêted its first anniversary.

The only lament of the evening? Rain prevented the party from extending to its popular rooftop.

Paying homage to Virginia Hardware, a hardware shop that occupied the same spot for nearly half a century before it became a Ri Ra Irish Pub, Wilson Hardware is a go-to gathering place in the neighborhood, especially because of its three different bar areas.

Painted walls and a candle-lit vibe created ambience for celebrators to enjoy flowing drinks, bar bites, and live music.

Everyone was especially clamoring to get their hands on the hottest hardware of the night… a litebrite cocktail served in a lightbulb with an ice bucket bath!
